| About Me | Raised in Miami Valley, have brother, sister, 3 nephews, niece, 2 grand-nieces, grand-nephew, 2 step-sisters like family. Schools: Miami Univ BA; Wright State Univ MS Career: Ind Dept of Env. Mgmt, environmental consult; ran investment advisory practice; traded own acct; Now considering what career steps to take Married 1989, divorced 1995, engaged 2007-2009; the latter fell apart and am currently uninvolved. Love scuba diving on coral reefs & have advanced certification. I love meeting and getting to know people from places/cultures very different from USA. From this I've found people are about the same everywhere I go, though rich, poor, of diff. races & shades, concerns, etc. Traveled: Mexico (Mex City, Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Cozumel), Ecuador (3 mo.), Netherlands, England, Isle of Man, Canada (lived), Puerto Rico, Guadelouple (French Dept.), Bahamas, Australia (2 mo.), Italy, France, Spain, Germany, UAE (Dubai), Philippines (6 wks), India & Nepal (2 mo.) I love my country, the people, the land & the Constitution, but I cannot make it into an idol. Even over my country God must come first; I am no respecter of nationalities, borders are a matter of law & custom, & culture, nothing more. One species/many tribes, each member has the same natural born or inalienable rights. My prayer is that the love of Christ will drive the remainder of my life and that I will place Him at center, denying myself & following His example. This is the life if you are a believer. I'd one day like to install water wells in the poorer nations as part of a Christian team. I want God to continue giving me a new heart, in spite of my fallible self. I want a large reward for success at humility when I arrive in heaven. (Ha!) If it is nothing grand that I do here in the rest of my time, I just want to be generous every day according to God's spirit. I want to touch lives positively. Doesn't that sound great?
