About	LONAKER, Caroline L. Age 82, formerly of Kettering, Ohio, died in Frankenmuth, MI on January 15, 2018, with family by her side. Caroline was born June 26, 1935, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Frederick V. and Emma (Woodward) Zimmer. She graduated from Stivers High School in 1953 and attended Wittenberg University and Sinclair College. Surviving are: her daughters: Karen (Douglas) Overbay and Janet (Ludwig) Schultz; Granddaughter, Abigail; Great-grandchildren: Brooklyn and Zayden and many other relatives and friends. Caroline was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle, brothers: Fred, Dave, and Michael Zimmer. She retired from the Kettering Board of Education. She enjoyed playing the piano, church, genealogy research, and spending time with family. Caroline was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Epiphany Lutheran Church - 6430 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church or a charity of choice. " I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
