About	Chemistry Larson, James A. , of Lebanon died on Monday, June 5, 2017, at the age of 72 . Born in Lebanon on November 17, 1944 he was the third of four sons to Robert and Ruth (nee: Dear) Larson. Jim and his wife Esther both attended Ohio State where they received teaching degrees. Jim went on to use his degree to teach and coach at Kettering Fairmont High School for many years. Jim's love of sports began at a young age, he started coaching Little League at the age of 15. Jim continued to coach and umpire within his community for years to come including coaching both his son and daughter's teams with Lebanon Baseball Softball Association. He was inducted into the Miami Valley Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Jim was a member of the Warren County Alumni Association and the Warren County Retired Teachers Association. Preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers, Gerald and Michael Larson. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 Years, Esther (need: Banta) Larson, one Daughter, Nicole Larson of Lebanon , one Son, Chad (Renee) Larson of Lebanon, one Brother, Robert (Pat) Larson of Wisconsin , five grandchildren Justice and Gabby Larson, Josh, Matthew, and Krissy Flannery, two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Michael Flannery, and several nieces and nephews . Visitation, will be held at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 10 AM to 12:00PM, services to follow immediately afterward. Followed by interment at the Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Lebanon Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, PO Box 284, Lebanon, OH 45036.
