About	English, Rhythmette Advisor MALOON, Erma Age 92 of Kettering, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ralph I. MaLoon; son, Donald MaLoon; and infant son, Gerald. She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Janay) MaLoon and Stephen (Melinda) Maloon; 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will fondly remember being the center of her universe during playtime. She graduated from the University of Dayton with Bachelor's & Master's Degrees. She was an English teacher at Fairmont High School for 30 years, where she was named 1981 Teacher of the Year. She was President of Women of the Church, member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority and Alliance Francais; enjoyed reading, gardening and worldwide travel with her husband. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Rd, Dayton. Arrangements by Morris Sons Funeral Home, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
