About	History JANES, Robert D. "Bob" 73, of Trotwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Friendship Village of Trotwood. He was born May 29, 1932 in Darke County, OH. Son of the late Willard Janes and Verna (Coppock) Janes Barnhardt. He was a retired social studies teacher from Fairmont High School after 35 years of teaching and was named the 1997 Leader of Distinction by the Western Ohio Education Association. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, V.F.W., National Education Assoc, Ohio Education Assoc., Kettering Education Assoc., Gem City Jim Beam Bottle Club Assoc. and the Smithsonian Institute. He is survived by his wife, Lois A. (Oswalt) Janes of Trotwood whom he married on June 4, 1960. Funeral services on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 10 A.M. at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home of Greenville, Ohio. Burial Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Full Military services will be conducted on Friday by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
