About	English FREEMAN, Ruth V. A memorial service for Ruth V. Freeman, 91, of Granville, formerly of Kettering, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton. A private graveside service will be held in David's Cemetery in Dayton. Mrs. Freeman, a retired English teacher at Fairmont High School in Kettering, died May 20, 2006, at Kendal at Granville. She was born July 21, 1914, in Holland, Mich., to the late Janet (Van Den Belt) and John Van Oss. Mrs. Freeman was a 1935 graduate of Hope College in Holland, Mich. She was a member, deacon, and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a former president of the Women at Westminster. She served on the board of the Widow's Home of Dayton. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard J., M.D., and Judith A. Freeman of Auburn, N.Y., John R. Freeman, M.D., of Aspen, Colo., and Douglas J. and Susan J. Freeman of Granville; Her husband, Robert F. Freeman, died in October, 1967.
