About	East Unit Counselor CARR, Mary Elizabeth "Bette" 87 years passed away on May 24, 2006. She was born October 14, 1918, in Dayton OH to Ralph and Harriet Clement. She earned a B.S. in secondary education and an M.S. in counseling from the University of Dayton. For nearly 20 years she was a guidance counselor at Fairmont West High School in Kettering OH. Bette Carr was preceded in death by her husband, W. Howard Carr. She is survived by her son, Stephen H. Carr of Evanston IL. An avid gardener, she took great pride in her homes and yards, in Oakwood, Washington Township OH, and in retirement in Holmes Beach FL. In Florida she held most lay offices at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, and she served for many tours of duty as President of the Woman's Club of Anna Maria Island.
