LIBERTYVILLE – Ray Beauchamp, former resident of Libertyville, died Tuesday evening at his home in Cedar Rapids of an accidental gunshot would.
Last rites will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Ray Beauchamp was born Oct. 6, 1946 in Fairfield, the son of Christie and Faye Simmons Beauchamp. He was reared and educated in the Libertyville and the Fairfield schools. He attended Iowa Wesleyan College, Burlington Junior College, Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids and the University of Iowa at Iowa City.
A member of the Libertyville United Methodist Church, he was married to Donna Campbell Dec. 19, 1964, at Libertyville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Michelle Lynne, at home; his parents; grandmothers, Mrs. Fred Simmons, Fairfield; Mrs. W.E. Balderson, rural route #3.
Other survivors include three brothers, Robert, Indianapolis; Dennis and Scott, both at home.
