BURLESON, Texas -- Sharlene Ann McDonough, 43, of Burleson, Texas, died Sunday, March 27, 1988, in Fort Worth, Texas, after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 24, 1945, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frances and Aleda Sieren Kurtz. She married David C. McDonough Nov. 4, 1967, in Iowa City.
Mrs. McDonough is survived by her husband; one son Micheal; her parents, Brighton; four brothers, Eugene Kurtz, Mount Vernon; Phillip, Brighton; Harold of Conesville; and Edward, Rochester, Minn.; and one sister, Darlene Kern, Washington.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Iowa City, with the Rev. Robert Busher officiating. Friends may call at the George L Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Association.
