About	Earl “Skip” Michels, 61, of Littleton, Color., died Jan. 30, 2002. He was born Dec 15, 1940, in Jefferson County, Neb. He was raised and education in Fairbury. He attended the University of Nebraska. In 1962 he married Carol Smith. Three children were born to this marriage. His career included management positions with Hallmark and Sheffield Plastics, from which he retired. In 1996 he married Sharon Beasley. Survivors include his wife; sons, Mike and Mark; daughter Julie Spandow and her husband, Were; stepchildren, Tony Beasley and his wife, Hirome and Cindy Marcantonio and her husband, Dan; three grandchildren; two step grand-children; brothers, Lowell of Minnesota, Lee of Alabama, Wesley of Kansas and Stan of Nebraska; sister, Hope Benedict of Missouri. Preceding him in death were his parents, Fredrich and Margaret Michels; and a brother, Fred.
