| About Me | went to college at CMSU and was a memeber of Alpha Omicron Pi. I met my husband Josh while in the Burg he was a Theta Chi. I graduated in 2001 with a BS in Photography. We both moved to St. Louis after graduation, I started working at a studio. Working every weekend and unset hours got old really quick. I put my camera down for about 2 years. The next June I decided to back to school to work towards my Masters degree in Education. I was truly blessed and began my first teaching job that August in a rapidly growing school district where I spent four great and challenging years. Josh and I were also married in August 2002. The following summer we learned we were expecting our first child. Emotions were on overload feelings from excitment and disbelief to fear and being overwhelmed! Our little Joey arrive in January 2004, the day before Josh's birthday. Joey was born 8 weeks early, but was very healthy and we were able to take him home 3 weeks later. I also began teaching high school that year. In January 2006 we decided to pick up and move to Springfield, we were again blessed to both get great jobs in our fields very quick. With the help of family the transition of living apart for 3 months went very smoothly. Josh and Joey made the move with our dog Vegas in March, I had to wait until school was over and came in June. I can honestly say I can make the trip from St. Louis to Springfield with my eyes closed. We closed on home here the day school was over, so let's just say June 3rd was a great day for us! We have great friends that live 2 houses down from us, their little boy and Joey are best friends. I am so greatful to have found a wonderful school with a very positive attitude.
