About	Dorothea Russell PITTSTON TWP., PA Dorothea Ann Russell, 77, of Pittston Twp., PA, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Russell was a longtime Hamilton area resident before moving to Pittston, PA, in 2014. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church. Dot worked as a principal clerk for the Department of Transportation in Ewing for 15 years. She served as the secretary for the Cook AA Athletic League and worked on the Democratic Committee for Kennedy Campaign. Dot was a fan of the Broncos, John Elway, Tim Tebow and Rusty Wallace. She loved to dance and enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley. Dot adored animals and her happiest times were spent with her family. Dot was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Marjorie (Middleton) Bennett; her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph L. Russell; her son, Michael Russell; her daughter, Nancy (Russell) Schifano and her son-in-law, Ronald Cray, and sister, Phyllis Holsman. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Russell, Jr. of Trenton, Stephen and Audrey Russell of Hamilton Square and Karl Russell and Shelly Stepien of Mt. Laurel; her daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Andrew Hager of Mercerville, Peggy Cray and Detlef Wille of Hazelton, PA, and Joy and Charlie Chesney of Trenton; her grandchildren, Stephen, Jr., Matthew and Jacqueline Russell, Michael and Ralph Cray, Erica Chesney, A.J. and Kevin Hager, and Jeffrey Stepien; her great-grandchildren, Avery Wagner, Aidan Russell, Abby Konkus, Brianna Russell and Karsen Kruczek; her brother, Raymond Bennett; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Friday, Dec.ec. 23, 2016, at 8:45 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart RC Church, 343 South Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08608. Interment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, Dec.22, 2016, from 6to 8 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
