About	Richard Lawrence Stout, 76, of Pennington, NJ, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Capital Health Hospital, Hopewell, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Richard was a resident of Ewing before moving to Pennington in 2005. In 2004 he married the love of his life, Robin J. Stout (nee Britton). Richard was a graduate of Ewing High School, Class of 1960. He retired from the NJ Department of Transportation after 42 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and spending time with his German Shepherd, Koda. He also enjoyed his lovable cats, Jinxy and Spooky. Richard was a generous, friendly, and outgoing person who will be truly missed by many family and friends. Richard was predeceased by his father, David L. Stout and mother, Dorothy C. Stout (nee Helm) of Pennington, NJ. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin J. Stout and her family. He is also survived by three cousins, Michael C. Helm, Charles E. Helm, both of Manasquan, NJ, Sharon L. Huff of Point Pleasant, NJ, and friends for over 50 years, Kirk C. Reichert Sr. and his wife, Carrie. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington, NJ 08534 with the Rev. William McQuoid officiating.
