Patty passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, after a courageous 16-month battle with ALS. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Swedish, Fred Hutch, and UW hospitals, where she devoted her career to caring for others. A lifelong Burien resident, Patty volunteered at the Highline Heritage Museum and participated in Highliners musical productions. She enjoyed traveling, researching her family history, and sharing her wry sense of humor—often punctuated by her favorite phrase, “That's a fine kettle of fish”—with those around her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the many lives she touched. Patty is survived by her sisters, Barbara ('69) and Susan ('70), and her brother, Steve ('68).
