About Me	Delano Franklin Glovick, dad senior, I am the junior and my youngest son is III. My Grandmother grew up during the depression and named us after FDR. She taught us how important it is for the family to always work together. Ivona and I have been married for the last 28 years. We have 7 adult children combined from hers, mine, and ours. I am proud to have served 17 years in the US Marine Corps, Honorable Discharge, and a Veteran with 50% service connected disability. My duty stations were MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, USS Cleveland, USS Tripoli, USS New Orleans, Naval Base Subic Bay, Philippine, Camp Smith, Hawaii, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, Navy Training Center Millington, TN, MCAS Yuma, AZ, MCAS El Toro, CA, MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, and Drill Instructor School, San Diego, CA. After the Marine Corps, it was exciting to find work at what I enjoyed as a computer technician and managing technicians. Then a friend suggested Comcast. I have worked as a communication Technician 3, business system rep 2 and finance & accounting rep 1. Comcast is a great company to work for and strongly recommend people to check it out for themselves. I volunteer my time to the Boy Scout and teach Citizenship in the World at the MTSU Merit Badge University every year for the past 15 years. The learning environment is fun. I am currently updating my skills through the University of Phoenix. I still teach Sunday school and enjoy talking to young people about work ethics, setting personal values above what others expect, and overcoming obstacles.
