RICHARD BROECKER OBITUARY
Broecker, Richard , 55, Orlando, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Rick was born October 14, 1961, in Orlando and was a lifelong Central Florida resident. He worked for Jet Blue Airlines as a Ramp Agent at Orlando International Airport, and successfully trained numerous new employees in the systems used at the airlines. Rick loved sports of all kinds. Whether watching or participating, he was a true sports enthusiast. In his younger days, Rick had an excellent baseball career and loved his years playing at Evans High school. Later, as time permitted, he enjoyed playing golf. But his favorite sports activity of all, was watching his son Griffin play lacrosse. Rick is survived by his son, Griffin Broecker and Kathy Broecker, to whom he was once married and his brother William Broecker (w. Holly). He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Broecker and his brother Scott Broecker. Services will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, August 12 at the Rethink Life Church; Pastor Chad Harper will officiate. Contributions in memory of Rick may be made to Rethink Life Church.
