Ivan Seidenberg

Class of 1964

Ivan was a year behind me but we were still friends. He was a great guy then and, since I haven't seen him since, I suppose he is a great guy now. He served in Vietnam and then joined the telephone company that was then AT&T. Well after serving as a lineman and other menial jobs he rose in the ranks and when Verizon was begun Ivan was an employee of that company. Today Ivan is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Verizon. Yes the same company we all know and love. Good for you Ivan it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
