After graduating from the University of Missouri, I joined the Air Force within two weeks. Served from 1964 to 1984 as a navigator-bombardier flying B-52's, FB-111's, C-141's and WC130's stationed at air force bases in Arkansas, California, North Carolina, New Hampshire and New York. Also served overseas at bases in Guam, Vietnam, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia.

Environmental and Fuel Systems Technician on mainly F-111, F-4, and F-15 Aircraft. Traveled extensively to destinations such as Turkey, Iceland, Singapore, Spain, Germany, and many more.
