Alton Rivers

Class of 1953

After earning BA degree from OSU and receiving commission into United States Air Force, served 22 years flying fighter jets, including F-101B. F-4 Phantom and F-111. Retired from USAF as Lt. Colonel. Earned masters degree from Auburn University, served several years in city management, after which wrote four novel: 'Where We Belong', HarperCollins-AUS; 'Love, Ava', St.MartinsPress; 'Redemption Creek', WanderfalkenBooks; 'Grasping For The Wind', LifeRichBooks (imprint of Readers Digest). Presently working on fifth novel, 'If, By Chance'.
