| About Me | After high school, I attended Iowa Lakes for one year, then transferred to Iowa State. I graduated in 1994 with a degree in Family Services. I worked for HeadStart for two years. I married Pete Paulson in 1995. We lived in Spencer for one year, then moved to Buffalo Center where Pete had a job as a Power Lineman. I worked for Iowa State Extension for one year, then opened a daycare out of my home to stay home with my own kids. I have a stepson, Clay, in college.
