| About Me | I went to ILCC and received my AA degree, then off to UNI to get my BA in accounting. Then I got married in August, 1993 to Mike Heenan. In March 1994 I was diagnosed with scleroderma, an auto-immune disease that is the overproduction of collagen in your body. We moved to Springfield, IL to get to warmer weather to help my scleroderma. However, I was very sick my first 5 years after diagnosis. In 1999 we moved to Bellevue, NE. I currently work at a CPA firm and lead the Omaha Scleroderma Support Group. We have an annual fundraising event that has raised over $203,000 for scleroderma over the past 7 years.
