| About Me | Married right out of high school to Steve Beauchemin and we shared a daughter. We were too young and divorced after 4 years, but in love until he passed, at the age of 42. No other children for either of us. I married again, lived and worked in Modesto in medical offices,for 20 years, then I started a non-profit support center for people/families and spouses needing help coping with all types of dementia. I loved travelling internationally and the RV lifestyle. I decided at 60 major changes were needed so I retired from the Alzheimer/Dementia Support Center and when I reconnected with an old friend in Canada, I immigrated up here and cared for him until he passed. I love the beauty of British Columbia, so I decided to stay. My circle of friends grew, and I met a new man, Richard. We were married last November.
