About Me	I attended Enumclaw High School from 9th through 11th grades as Kathy Blanton. My sister, Janet Blanton, and I moved to Portland, Oregon to live with our grandmother. Our younger brother, Patrick Blanton, stayed and attended High School in Enumclaw. My sister and I attended the 10 year anniversary of the class of '75 and have not attended any other reunions. My husband, Robert Scott, was a Captain in the Air Force and a Viet Nam veteran. He died December 26, 2002. I have a daughter, Joni-Lee, born in 1982. She has a daughter, Skye Rose, born Christmastime 2003 We enjoy reading and writing, especially my daughter, whose poetry has been published several times and has won awards. My granddaughter, Skye, has High Functioning Autism and is currently in 4th grade, struggling, but still attending! Every-other Friday is "Grandma day" and she spends the weekends with me until after Church on Sunday. My sister and I are members of the Mormon church currently attending in Cle Elum, WA. We are both living together since her husband, as well as mine, have died. Her husband was also a Viet Nam vet in the Navy. Our brother, Gary Blanton, lives in Bowie, Maryland and is a volunteer firefighter/paramedic as well as a retired Navy Senior Chief and works as a contractor doing "Navy Stuff". I retired from the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative on 7/30/2010 after 34 years of employment. After about 4 months, I had just too much time on my hands, so I went to work 3 days a week for the Attorney's office "Russell & Hill, PLLC" in Everett, Washington. It's was a great place to work. I left there in April 2013 to really retire. I continue teaching Social Security seminars for Merrill Lynch. I'm living a simple...(read more)
