| About | Kelly died from a sudden heart attack in 2021 after retiring in Costa Rica with his wife, Mechele (Le Maire) Anderson (Class of '71), for 2 1/2 years . Kelly had been a builder all of his career and after going back to college, got his degree, with honors, in Project Management. Hiking, snow shoeing, kayaking, fly fishing and most of all riding his Harley on road trips with friends and his wife were the things he loved to do as often as possible. Especially riding his Harley at every opportunity! He and Mechele met in 2015 and were married in 2017. Even though he and Mechele are both graduates of Enumclaw High School, they didn't know each other in school and actually met through Match.com in 2015 as strangers years later! Kelly was very funny (and a prankster), intelligent and kind. His absence is felt every single day by those who knew and loved him. |
| Events | Kelly's memorial service was held in San Josecito, Costa Rica and was attended by dozens of friends there. His ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean near his favorite beach by Mechele and his best friend, Nico Mendoza. |
