Worth County being the fourth largest County in the State of Georgia. Mr. Johnson was elected to the Ward 4 City Council seat and took office on January 10, 1994. Since 1994, he has served five consecutive terms. His fifth term will expire on December 31, 2013. Mr. Johnson was the First Afro American to serve on The Sylvester Worth County Chamber of Commerce, Broad of Directors.
