About	Karen Lachelle Shepard, age 45, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was a daughter to the late Franklin D. Shepard and the late Pearl Lillian Warren Shepard and was also preceded in death by a sister, Lavonda Darlene Shepard Christopher. She is survived by a nephew, Jonathan Christopher and a brother-in-law Lee Christopher of Canton and her beloved K-9 companions Jade, Bella and Lilly. Karen was employed at Iwanna in Asheville for 21 years. She loved her puppies and would drop everything to help others. She was a very generous and kind person and her favorite color was purple. There was never a dull moment with Karen. A celebration of Karen's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.
