About	Stephen “Steve” Gary Hamilton,50, of 304 Choestoea Road, Westminster, SC Died Saturday, September 6, 2003 at St Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born in Candler, NC on June 19, 1953, Mr. Hamilton was an engineer technician with South Carolina Department of Transportation. He was of the Baptist denomination. He is survived by his wife, Kathie Simpson Hamilton of the home; son, David Hamilton of Powder Spring, GA; daughter, Jessica Hamilton of Powder Spring, GA; three step-children, Bert Gay of Westmininster; Joshua Simpson of Clemson and Dorothy Allen of Iva; sister Susan G. Johnson of Powell, Wyoming; and four grandchildren. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Carmel and Marguerite Mollie Vinson Hamilton. The funeral services were held at 3 PM Monday at the chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster, with the Rev Ray Nix officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Memorial Park. The family received friends one hour prior to the services and at other times will be at the residence. Flower will be accepted. Sandifer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
