About	Susan Dianne Crawford, 48 of Enka Lake Road, died Monday, May 27,2002 at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Richard L. Crawford, Sr. She attended Cecils College and was employed by Ingles Markets for 21 years in accounting in the executive offices and recently employed by Friday Staffing for the past 2 years. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in West Asheville. She enjoyed reading and camping. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jo Massie and her husband Glen, one sister, Donna Bruce and her husband Jim, one brother, Richard L. Crawford and his wife Loretta, all of Candler. 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Friday, May 31, 2002 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Travis Harrison Officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 PM to 9 PM Thursday, May 30, 2002 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be G. B. Pressley, Bobby Teague, Mike Matthews, Scott Boone, Fred Bailey, and Miles Goforth. Memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice Solace, PO Box 16, Asheville, NC 28802 or to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. At other times the family will be at the home of her mother, 511 Enka Lake Road, Candler, NC 28715
