About Me	After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma, acquiring my BS in medical technology. I married and worked as a med tech while my then, husband, attended and completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. We then moved to Kansas City where he did his residency, then spent 2 years in Myrtle Beach, SC. while he served in the Air Force. We then moved to Woodland , California where he practiced general medicine for 4 years----i was a stay-at-home mom , raising 3 little boys. We then moved to KC where he completed an orthopedic residency and I worked part-time as a med tech. From KC, we moved to Springfield, Missouri where he joined an orthopedic practice in 1977. During the next years, I worked part-time, first as a med-tech, and then later went to work for a friend who owned an interior desiign business. I worked for her for the next 25 years, gradually developing my skills as an interior designer. I was divorced in 1999 and have been working as a freelance interior designer since 2006. Two years ago, I studied for and acquired my Missouri Real Estate license and have added that to my list of careers which I continue working in today. My life today consists of work, much travel ( to see children and grandchildren in 3 separate states), cycling, a little golf, as much exercise as I can squeeze in, and a wonderfully renewed friendship and relationship with a ...(read more)
