Doris passed away at the age of 92 after a short illness believed to be a bacterial infection. She was born in Aline, Oklahoma but her parents later moved to Enid where she attended Enid High School. She married Gordon Holle of Fairmont, OK in 1949. She lived on the family farm until she died. She and Gordon had 2 children, Deborah and Michael.
