About	Judith “Judy” Irene (Maxwell) Moody April 20, 1943 - June 17, 2016 Judith "Judy" Irene (Maxwell) Moody, aged 73, died peacefully on June 17, 2016 at Beaches Baptist Medical Center. Judy was born on April 20, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of the late William Ray Maxwell and Nellie Elizabeth (Touchton) Maxwell. She graduated from Englewood High School, Jacksonville, FL, Class of 1961. She was united in marriage to Maxey Dell Moody III on August 24, 1963. They were married for 53 blissful years. Her husband Maxey Dell Moody III, children and spouses, Lisa Moody, Maxey “Max” Dell Moody IV and his wife, Cheryl Moody, Ray Moody, and his wife, Kathy Moody, Susan (Moody) Lawhon, and her husband, Joey Lawhon, Jane (Moody) Powell, and her husband, Jason Powell, Robert Moody, and his wife, Robin Moody, Jessica (Moody) Phillips, and her husband, Trey Phillips, Stephen Moody and his wife, Candice Moody, ten loving grandchildren, Andrew, Maxey “Max” Dell Moody V, Audrey, Madilyn, Taylor, Caroline, Mary Hannah, Harrison, Robert Jr., and Mitchell, brother, Ronald “Ron” Maxwell, and sister, Cynthia Maxwell survived her. Her parents, William Ray Maxwell and Nellie Ellizabeth (Touchton) Maxell, and daughter, Mary Moody (d. 1980), predeceased her. Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. A Celebration of Judy's life was held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel, followed by interment at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Boulevard. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, Jacksonville, FL, which made her original biographical obituary and family photograph album available online.
