CARMICHAEL Roy Carmichael, 59, voted Best Dancer / class of '68, was welcomed into heaven April 23, 2008, by his parents, Drew & Etta Carmichael. Roy was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville & Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He attended Englewood High School and FJC. The surfer dude loved the beach and loved dancing. He leaves behind his son, Troy (Terri) Hallenbeck, his sisters, Pawnee, Debi and Dee Carmichael and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephew, grand nieces and nephews, and step-children. A celebratory memorial service was held Then a walk to the pier to watch the sunset. -
