About	Timothy Edwin Davis of Dunnellon, FL, born March 2, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL, went to be with the Lord September 27, 2019 at the age of 71 surrounded by family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ann Davis of Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jackie Davis; sons Kevin Davis of Dunnellon, FL and Keith Davis (wife Jessica) of Groveland, FL; daughter Kristi Callaway (husband Steve) of Houston, TX; grandchildren Kelsey, Kamden, Damion, Sterling, Kyle, Katie, Josh, Dillon, and Declan Davis, and Davis Callaway; siblings Tom Davis (wife Ellie) and Becky Bolt (husband Julian). Tim served as a DK2 in the US Navy Black Shoe and Sea Bees. He was honored to be a veteran. Tim was a proud University of Florida College of Building Construction alumni. He was a construction executive for several companies and ended his career with Elford Inc. in Columbus, OH. Tim was a member of the Dunnellon Free Mason Lodge #136, the American Legion, the Shriners, and was a very active member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon. Tim's favorite pastimes were being with his grandchildren, bass fishing, watching the Florida Gators, and spending time with his brothers at the lodge. Memorial Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, October 6, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, 21501 Co Rd 40, Dunnellon, FL 34431, with Pastor Eddie Fulford officiating. He will also receive Masonic Rites from the Dunnellon Masonic Lodge, and Military Honors from the Wall-Rives American Legion Post #58.
