Passed away from a very aggressive strain of Pancreatic Cancer. Brenda was brought home from U of Michigan Hospital on 12/04 for her final days. She passed away quietly at 3:30 AM on December 6th. Brenda had many friends. The Estes-Leadley main chapel was packed for her funeral service. Following her passing the Eaton County Democratic Party named an award in her honor. The Brenda Simpson Award is presented annually to the outstanding volunteer of the year.
