Support E-Hawk Plaza

The Emmetsburg Educational Foundation is selling concrete pavers that can be personalized. The pavers will be embedded in the ground around the victory bell located at the high school, new auditorium entrance.
The E-hawk Plaza will be the new home for the Victory Bell being relocated starting Spring 2011.
There are a limited number of pavers available so please join me today by filling out the attached order form. You may also contact Debbie Walsh at the Superintendent's Office at (712) 852-3201.
All proceeds provide Emmetsburg High school seniors with scholarships.

Help Emmetsburg Classrooms!

Greetings! You can help Emmetsburg Community School District classrooms (Pre-K through 12th grade) acquire needed materials.

DonorsChoose is an amazing organization devoted to providing educators with needed materials for their classrooms. There are nine active projects in our district. To check them out, go to DonorsChoose.org and click Projects, State, County and District.

The movie WAITING FOR SUPERMAN has a promotion and if you "pledge" to watch the upcoming movie, you receive a $5 credit to be applied to the DonorsChoose project of your choice. It would be great to have Emmetsburg appear with other cities on the Leaderboard!

Currently, my third grade classroom is in need of an updated world map and a globe without U.S.S.R. listed.

My students and I have been very, very fortunate. In the past 14 months, six of our classroom projects have been funded and include: a digital camera, a subscription to Weekly Reader for 55 students, an Elmo document projector, school supplies, a notebook computer, and printer ink!

If you know a teacher, share this information with him/her. This has been a wonderful opportunity to obtain things for my classroom that I would have purchased on my own or gone without.
