| About Me | After graduation I spent three years in the Navy, returned home and worked my way through college, graduating in 1968. I was hired by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as a "Government Career Trainee" in 1968. In 1978 I was a Right of Way Administrator and when PennDOT suffered severe budget cuts, I moved on to Buckeye Pipe Line Company as a Senior Right of Way Agent. I recently retired from Buckeye Partners, L.P. as Senior Manager, Real Estate, Right of Way and Permits. In 1968 I married Judith R. Backenstoe a college classmate.
