| About Me | I attended college late in my life, moving to California with my wonderful four year old son, I found that going to college in California was more affordable than Ohio State. One of my professors said that one of the greatest things you can put on your resume is that you put yourself through college and funded it yourself completely. I did get a few student loans but only $20,000.00 and the rest I funded myself. I graduated from California State University of Long Beach in four years and I was driven by a huge "Why". I also received a Master's Degree later in life with a new "Why" and received this degree in less than two years. My first "Why" was: I did not want my son to have to wait too long for me to graduate and move forward with our lives. When I look back on this I realize that knowing what your "Why" is what made me succeed in life. When I finally realized what my real "Why" was I started gaining more momentum. I realized paying off my mortgage was a flat "Why" for me and started focusing on my real "Why". My husband and I will be opening an Exit Realty by the end of the year 2 011 and it is all because of my real "Why". I love sharing this "Why" with everyone I meet. It has given me great purpose and helped me to write my Mission Statement and keep my goals at the forefront. Life just keeps getting better and better. My real "Why" now is to leave a legacy of helping people succeed in real estate, funding my grandchildren's college and helping my favorite charity. It does not have a monetary value but keeping my focus on this"Why" is what will drive me to success in our new venture. Helping others is what makes me the most happy. These are the traits that I loved about my mom and dad and it is the legacy that they left.
