David Allen Esterly, 56, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was a graduate of Elyria High School. David proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He enjoyed all Ohio Sports, listening to music, cooking, golfing, but most of all David had a big heart and loved his children dearly.
Survivors include his daughters, Emilee and Anna Esterly; son, Russell Esterly; brothers, Richard (Sandi) Esterly and Robert (Marie) Esterly and his dog, Shadow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jo Ann Esterly (nee Misita).
Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2022 followed by full Military Honors provided by VFW Post #1079 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home & Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria, 440-322-4626. Burial will be private.
