I joined the US Navy in december 1992. I have sailed the world several times on the USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Constellation, USNS Mercy, USS Ronald Reagan, and currently enroute to the USS Boxer in the Persian Gulf. Ive been to Hong Kong, Sasebo, Singapore, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Pusan, Guam, Bahrain, Italy, Spain, and all over the US.

William (Bill) Balch left El Toro two months before graduation on his birthday February 12th 1988, to serve in the US Army. he joined a cohort unit, and after just three months he decided to continue into advanced combat training by joining and complete the US Army Airborne School. He also was stained in Ft Wainwright, & Ft Richardson AK. having competed the hardest cold weather training the US Army has to offer. He Received several awards, and medals in the US Army, and an honorable discharge after a brief extension due to the Gulf War.
