William Berson
Class of 1965
William Berson, Elmont Memorial Class of 1965 is a well-known inventor and physicist with over 48 US and numerous foreign patents. His work includes innovations in solar-power, anti-counterfeiting, personal privacy and many other fields. His inventions impact the everyday lives of people throughout the world and range from radon removal to ticketless boarding passes and digitized drivers licenses. Berson has founded a number of high tech companies including Pitney Bowes Veritas, Webtubes.com and Floatgreen. Presently he is the President of Berson Scientific LLC, which develops and monetizes intellectual property.
