About Me	I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chile (1964-66). I taught international economics at the University of Denver (1971-1985), and at the University of Chile in Santiago as a Fulbright Professor. After 1985 I did consulting work for international aid agencies (World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, USAID and others.) Thus, I have visited about 50 different countries, and have lived in several (Chile, Lithuania, Kenya and Tajikistan) I've published several books on questions of economic development in poor countries and in 2008 will publish a book of essays on flyfishing.
