About Me	I received a full scholarship ( after turning down 2 state-side) from the Vienna Conservatory of Music in Vienna Austria (Europe) for 4 yrs. which would give me a master's degree in "Solo Voice, Lieder & Oratorio". But 2 wks. after returning for summer break (May 1972) I was in a bad wreck & suffered a comminuted fracture of my rt. arm, a skull fracture & a gash in my forehead requiring 128 stitches. I received a contra coup injury to the brain. My arm was paralyzed for nearly a year. I've had 17 surgeries & 37 hospitalizations during my lifespan. I take a cacophony of meds & it's OK. I met my father (a landscape gardener - now retired in Phoenix, AZ ) in OR, at 19. I loved OR and determined to return. While in college I did: nursing, Lady's companion, 911 operator, fireman, pottery, traveled Europe summer '75 on U-Rail pass; [studied : physics, chemistry, algebra & Trig. @ a prep school whilst teaching voice], Then entered college for pre-med (didn't realize car accident killed my short-term memory. Soooo I quit med & took... everything else!!! ) ; Health, PE & Recreation; minor ..swimming, WSI & IT; Art major ... pottery, Flute & Vocal Pedagogy major; PreNursing major ... Microbiology; Elem. Ed. major with 4 adjunct minors in Music, Languages, PE and Science. I spent 8 yrs. in college & hubby 10 yrs (he went back for 3 more degrees in computers; that makes 5) He got a disability discharge after 12 yrs in army. He was drafted during Viet Nam. Taught: grades 1 - 4, voice, swimming, flute, preSchool, computer workshops, French, German, English, Arts & Crafts, Bible, Vacation Bible Schools; boating, water skiing, out-door survival, life-Saving, a little home-schooling; & our 2 kids >>everything<<!!! ( our adult daughter ( little Fleatsey) is a severe Bipolar & lives in a Spokane treatment home -- she was a forceps baby) ( our son, Kieron, lives next door in his motor home while pursuing more college degrees. ) Also, writers' club newsletter editor; 'Fat' lady clubs; military wife, student missionary to Ireland; bands, choirs & orchestras; member of 'Maximum PC mag. ' for 13 yrs.; Repairing everything! like woodwinds for kids' tuition...PCs for neighbors -- free. I need to know everything about everything; I buy big, bad tools & learn to use them. X-mas '79 I married a 'Seventh Day Adventist' army medic (who later finished his nursing degree) in Germany; Lived & traveled all over America & Europe; -- longest run was Mama & wife--. Vegetarianism, church pianist; gardening, canning, freezing & drying harvest yearly; Cooking & baking alles from scratch. We bought 100 year old house & remodeled and lived in it 13 yrs. + resold it for 3 x the $$s and retired. Whew!...I'm tired!!! Now...?...I nuke frozen dinners & shop on e-Bay whilst researching everything online that I watch on TV from my huge, red 'couch potato' recliner with my 'Shih-Tzu' located in my retirement home--a 5th-Wheel trailer. I run at least 4 PCs; & my latest is a QVC-special 'ZT' with : Win 7, 64 bit, wi-fi, USB-3, P6, 2.93Hz, 4 GB DDR mem , SATA & Plextor DVD_RW that copies All! I bloom with all the cheap USB fun gadgets from China. I'm a total...(read more)
