About Me	I lived in Elkhart for 7-8 years and attended school there from first through sixth grade. Following my sixth grade year my family moved to the Denver area and two years later to Fresno, California, where I remained for 50 years. I graduated from California State University, Fresno with BA and MA degrees and a doctorate from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. My professional life was devoted to professional education and I spent 35+ years in educational administration in several capacities. I retired from that profession after over 40 years of service. I remained in Fresno for 12 years following my retirement in order to take care of my mother. After she passed away just a few days shy of her 101st birthday, I moved to the central coast of California. My wife and I have four sons in a blended marriage. Each of them has his own family and has been successful in his chosen profession. Although I did not graduate with the class with which I began my school experience and although I lived in Elkhart for a relatively short period of time, I consider Elkhart to be my hometown. No other place has fostered the memories and the friendships that Elkhart did. I still remember clearly the friends that I made there and the classmates with whom I went to elementary school. In my old age I want to do some "catching up" before it is too late. It is interesting to note that my picture is in the 1959 Wildcat on page 37. There are two pictures of the class of '59' toward the bottom right side of the page taken of the class of 1959 when its members were in the first grade.
