About	Ann passed away peacefully in Capitola, CA on September 21, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Ann, a native of Sacramento, CA was 88, born June 12, 1929, graduated from Elk Grove High School, Class of 1947. Ann and her husband Jim (of 63 years) have resided in Soquel, CA for the past 50 years where they owned and operated Dave's Motor Clinic for many years. Ann is honored in death as she was in life. She was dedicated to the wellbeing of her family, enjoyed the simple things in life including tending to her backyard garden. She will be sorely missed by her family. Ann is survived by her husband Jim, her son Rich and daughter Joan Holderman. She is also survived by her sisters Josephine Velaga, Millie Velaga, Elizabeth (Babe) Velaga and her niece Diann Velaga all of Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Zlata Velaga, her brothers Joseph and John Velaga, and her sister Mary Gocke. Funeral services will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
