About	Louise Marie Schultz, died 16 June 2017. Louise was born 10 May 1929 in Sacramento to Louis Arcuri and Ellen Margaret Harris. Her family moved to the Elk Grove area when she was a young girl and she spent the rest of her life in the Elk Grove area. She attended Elk Grove Grammar School where she played drums in the school band. She attended Elk Grove High School, Class of 1949. She left school her junior year to get married and one of her proudest accomplishments was finishing her high school education from Elk Grove Adult Education, receiving her high school diploma in 1964. She married Jacob Russell Schultz 20 June 1948 in Reno, Nevada and the couple made their home on part of his family's farm in Point Pleasant for their entire married life where they raised their three children. She was a long-time secretary at Franklin Elementary School in Franklin, having worked there for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping and traveling around America and Europe with her husband and family. Her baking and canning won many awards at the Sacramento County Fair and California State fair. She was active as a 4-H leader, Brownie Scout leader and Den Mother in Franklin and served many years as a docent at the Discovery Museum in Old Sacramento. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, General John A. Sutter Chapter. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Jacob R. Schultz of Point Pleasant; children Anita Peters (Manuel) and William Schultz (Joan) all of Courtland; Grandchildren Joseph Peters (Jeanine) of Fallon, NV; Antonio Peters (Mouang) of Redding; Ruth Schultz and Michael Schultz of Sacramento; Vincent Peters and Jake Peters (Hailey), David and Emily Schultz of Courtland; and Will Schultz of Hawaii. Great grandchildren Joey, Kate and Jessica of Fallon, NV; Natalie Tucker (Ryan), Jaylyn, Sabastian and Grace of Redding and Evan of Courtland. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great great grandchild Colten James Peters. She was also survived by her sister Ellen Simunich and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her son Jacob Russell Schultz, Jr.; siblings Josephine, Adaline, Eleanor, Madeline, Frances, Wilma, Rose Ann, Joe, Larry and Louie. Friends and family are invited to attend services on 30 June 2017 at 10 am at the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church located at 3329 Point Pleasant Road, Elk Grove, CA. Burial will follow in the churchyard with a gathering in the Church Hall immediately following. Anyone desiring to bring a dish to share, please bring it to the hall prior to the service.
