About	Jane Morse, descendant of an Elk Grove pioneer family and well-known citizen, died March 11, 2017 at the age of 95 surrounded by all her children, grandchildren and great-grand-children. Jane was born April 25, 1921 to Edwin and Berenice (Gibson) Derr and lived most of her life in Elk Grove. She married David C. Morse in 1943 after meeting at Elk Grove High School. They had 3 children: Scott, Sandra Jane Haight (Randy), and Mathew (Michelle). She was preceded in death by her husband, David (2010), and her brother Lawrence Derr (2001). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Jane's life will be held at the C.W. Dillard Elementary School at 9721 Dillard Rd., Wilton, CA on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
