About	Richard Kevin Glacken, age 78, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 following a battle with cancer. He was born in Sacramento, on August 19, 1938. He attended Florin Elementary and Graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1957. Richard joined the Navy at the age of 18. He served 3 years of active duty and 37 years in the reserves. He retired after 32 years with the Sacramento County Regional Water Treatment Plant. He was an avid runner, member of Vorlage Ski Club and Sacramento Area Woodworkers. Richard was predeceased by his parents Richard and Winifred, his brother Daniel, and sister Carol Busby. He is survived by his wife Cathyrn, son Daniel, daughter Bonnie Miller, stepdaughter Jaimie Herman, stepson Steve Taylor, sister Judith Way, many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Graveside Service will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620 on Thursday, May 25, 2017, 2:30 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6938 Los Olivos Way, Carmichael, on May 27, 2017, 11:00 AM.
