Thomas Tsugio Sonoda (1940 - 2016)
Born October 11, 1940 in Hilo, Hawaii, and entered Nirvana on December 20, 2016. Preceded in death by brother Henry and parents Fujiko (Tomono) and Masami Sonoda. Survived by his wife Janet, daughters Joanne (David) and Alison (John) and son Michael. Missed by grandchildren Jordan, Kara, Emily and Kayla; brothers Ronald (Lorraine) and Wendell (Wanda); and sister Frances Nakashoji (Norio). A memorial service will be held in his honor at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Buddhist Church of Florin, 7235 Pritchard Road, Sacramento, CA 95828.
