About	Sue Etta Beevers was born in Melbourne, Arkansas on June 9, 1943 and passed away in Sacramento, CA on November 27, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Teddy, daughter Catherine, and sons Teddy Jr., and Robert. When she was 3 months old, her family moved to Salinas, California. From there, they moved to Florin, California where she attended Florin Elementary School and Elk Grove High School. After graduating from high school, Sue worked at the Sacramento Army Depot in the RAC office and the engineering department. It was there that she met her future husband Teddy. They dated for 3 months, quickly became engaged, and were married on December 22, 1964 in Sue's church by Teddy's father. Following the wedding, they both took jobs at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo and their daughter Catherine was born within a year. They settled in Napa for the next 12 years where Teddy, then Robert was born. Sue enjoyed working in her children's classrooms and was also active in their brownie and Cub Scout activities. From Napa, the family moved to Fairfield where they lived for 19 years. Around the time that Sue's children were in high school, she was diagnosed with leukemia and hospitalized for nearly a month. She was blessed to quickly go into remission. Later, Sue and her husband, with the help of their sons, built their retirement home in the foothills of Yuba County in Dobbins, CA. They lived there until moving back to Rio Linda to take care of her husband's mother who had dementia. Sue was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 5:30pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6:30pm at the North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95815. The interment will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
