WHALEY, Barbara Louise
Barbara Louise Whaley, born March 29, 1940 in Sac, CA passed away on Thurs June 6 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the 9th of 12 kids born to Robert and Mary Haynes and raised in the Florin area and a lifelong resident of Sacramento. She graduated the class of 1958 at Elk Grove High School and furthered her education receiving her cosmetology license the same year where she served many clients for over 45 years including operating/owning her hair Salon called Sheral's Salon of Beauty.
She was preceded in death by both parents, all 11 of her siblings, her beloved husband Jim of 43 years and her son James. She is survived by her son Gary (Charity) Whaley, daughter Kimberly (Tyler) Welch and daughter-in-law Michelle Whaley and 8 grandchildren.
Services will be held at Sacramento Memorial Lawn 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sac, CA on June 14th 2013. Brief viewing 10am services in chapel @ 11am. Family would like to invite all for a short reception to share memories immediately after at the Whaley home.
